NEW DATE SET FOR THE JUNIOR STATE TILLE

After negoations with the promotion of PCR a new date has been set for the running of the Junior Sedan State Title which was washed out on February 6th.

Saturday March 6th 2010 is the new date.

Consistant rain in the past week has forced the management of PCR to cancell this weekends meeting.

Negotations are now underway to re-scedule the Junior Title later in the season. Thank you to all our competitors who travelled such a long distance to compete in this title, we wish you a safe trip back home and look forward to seeing you at our next attempt to showcase the talents of our Junior Sedan drivers.

Junior Sedan State Title Nominations

A list of thirty Junior Sedan competitors will line up this Saturday night Feb 6th at PCR

The attached list shows a great mix of competitors from Canberra, Goulburn, Sydney, Portland, Newcastle, Lismore and the Central West.

09/10 NSW Junior Sedan Title - Nomination Forms Released

The nomination forms for the 2009/2010 NSW Junior Sedan Title to be held at Parramatta City Raceway on February 6th 2010 have been released.

Daylight Inspection Day Delayed 2 Weeks

Due to the revised start date at Parramatta City Raceway the first Sydney Club daylight inspections of race cars (Juniors & Mod Prods) have been put back to September 19 at PCR startng at 12pm-5pm before official practice.The junior training day will take place the following day September 20 at PCR. Mod Prods to support the return of Super Sedans at PCR on Saturday 10 October with the Sydney Modified Sedan Challenge.

New direction in Club elections

A changing of the guard has taken place within the Sydney Speedway Sedan Club as Alan Edwards retires as Club President after 24 years at the helm

Ray Healey Wins South Coast Title.

Portland's Ray Healey has taken victory in the 2009 South Coast Modified Sedan Title in his Portland Automotive BF Falcon held at Fire Service Plus Nowra Speedway on Marsch 21. The Sydney Club driver won the twin feature races starting from position 2.

South Coast Modified Sedan Title

Nominations are open for the South Coast Title for Modified Sedan on March 21 at Fire-Service Plus Nowra Speedway. The field is limited to the first 20 nominations (minimum 14 cars) as the meeting is on the same program as the NSW AMCA Title.

I would like to wish all of our Junior Sedan drivers in the Sydney Club a safe and successful night at Nowra for their State Title this weekend.

Holden Team takes Modified Sedan Test Match

The Holden Team of Sydney drivers Chris Sims, Allan Marskel, Shane Duggan, Nigel O Neill, Keith Sims, Shannon Gallagher and Danny Sims were successful in winning the second annual Ford Vs Holden Test Match on Saturday January 10 at Fire-Service Plus Nowra Speedway with a dominant 82-47 scoreline.

Another great night for the Junior Sedans at Parramatta.

The guys and girls racing in the Junior Sedans provided sensational racing action last Saturday night at the Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway. Racing in two group's the final races saw Courtney O'Hehir (B&R Brakes/Reservoir Smash Repairs Laser) taking out Group 1 and Rachel Neve (Debrink Transports/Elite Property Maintenance Corolla) winning Group 2 after starting from the rear of the field.

The Junior Sedans return to the Parramatta “Action Track” this Saturday

The Christmas/New Year festivities are over and this Saturday night (January 10th) the sensational Junior Sedans are set to return to the Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway for their first meeting of 2009.

Holden Vs Ford Modified Sedan Test Match

This coming Saturday 10 January will see the second running of the Holden Vs Ford Test Match at Fire-Service Plus Nowra Speedway.

Junior Sedans again impress at Parramatta.

Last Saturday night the Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway hosted the Junior Sedans and the young guys and gals didn't disappoint the Sydney race fans after another impressive night of action.
