March 5, 2009South Coast Modified Sedan Title
Nominations are open for the South Coast Title for Modified Sedan on March 21 at Fire-Service Plus Nowra Speedway. The field is limited to the first 20 nominations (minimum 14 cars) as the meeting is on the same program as the NSW AMCA Title.
The prizemoney pool is as follows: 1st-$400, 2nd-$150, 3rd-$100, $4th-$50, 5th-$50, 6th-$50.
The format will be 2 x 8 lap heats (max. 10 cars/heat) to detemine starting positions.The feature is 24 laps in 2 legs. The first 12 laps will be run as a replacement for the third heat with all cars in. The finishing positions of the first 12 lapper will be starting positions for the 12 lap final.Cars that withdraw from the first 12 lap race will be readmitted to the second 12 lap race on the lead lap (lucky dog) but at the rear of grid.(drivers must compete in the first leg to be eligible for the 2nd leg 12 lap final)
